Product Owner - In-Store Operational Efficiencies

As Kingfisher Product Owner - Operational Efficiencies, you will be an integral part of our business, working closely not only with the rest of the Product team but also with key stakeholders, subject matter experts and our in-house and offshore development teams. Using this close collaboration, you'll identify and implement improvements across multiple in-store activities performed using our Digital Colleague Application, helping our colleagues work more effectively and efficiently by optimising processes.
You will report into the Product Manager for Click & Collect, Home Delivery and In-Store Controls and work closely with them and your fellow Product Owners in the team to align roadmaps, and business opportunities with stakeholder priorities and interests.

Collaborative and agile, clear in communication and honest, you will be a team player capable of working across a business that is on a mission to make home improvement accessible to everyone and to be truly mobile first.
Lead our new Operational Efficiency development team to deliver exceptional results: guide, present challenges, trusting and allowing the teams to resolve how to deliver what you require
Participate in Agile ceremonies, build and maintain the product backlog
Work in conjunction and support our Business Analysts to analyse business requirements, and produce user stories and acceptance criteria
Contribute to the broader culture of Kingfisher by evangelising an agile mindset and lean approach
Working with the Product Manager and partners to shape the long-term Operational Efficiencies roadmap and vision
Deliver key initiatives to meet our business objectives
Be the voice of Kingfisher Group customer and build strong relationships with vital team members to effectively represent customer needs
Support and advise the Kingfisher banners/operating companies on how to get the best performance from our Digital Colleague Application product
Working with our Design team and immerse yourself in insights and learning from competitor analysis, user research and qualitative and quantitative data to advise on new insights and optimisation
Explore and champion new ideas, define and lead experiments, assess project results and celebrate success
Experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or relevant subject matter expert
Experience with in-store operational processes and colleague journeys would be an advantage
Understanding of Agile principles and experience with different methodologies
Understanding of the use of OKRs and the concept of business capabilities
Experience working with cross-functional teams
Experience of working with offshore and 3rd party development teams
Confident working with ambiguity and to challenging deadlines
Comfortable with technical conversations - initiating and understanding them
Strong verbal and written communication skills and proven track record to influence at all levels
Passionate about solving problems for our customers and colleagues
Experience with JIRA and Confluence would be beneficial, but not essential
Retail background would be an advantage, but it is not essential
