My client who is based in London is looking for a Change and Transition Manager for an initial 12 month contract with the potential to extend.

You will be a key part of the Product & Engineering programme team delivering one of our most exciting transformation programmes.

Reporting to the Change & Transformation Lead you will be responsible for the smooth running and day-to-day delivery of the cross-business change programme, with a mission to prepare our organisation for change, to mitigate negative impacts to our people and ensure the new operating model successfully embeds.

Applying a structured methodology, your responsibilities will include:

*Assessing the impact of proposed changes via design and delivery of various change assessments (e.g., current state, change impact, change readiness)

*Developing assessment outcomes into area specific change plans, which will drive adoption of required changes and successful transition to the future state

*Stakeholder management and relationship building, including analysis and delivery of timely, targeted interventions to drive behaviour change and collaboration

*Delivery of change initiatives which progress the evolution of our organisation and culture

*Managing the overall change roadmap, including updating and tracking milestone progress to ensure timely delivery

*Identification, management and mitigation of change related risks, ensuring they are fed into programme RAID logs as appropriate

*Managing our 'virtual team' and stakeholders with an inclusive team ethos and culture where people are recognised for their contribution

Location:

Most of our team works from home 3-4 days a week, gathering in our London Office 1-2 days per week, as needed for collaboration and co-working.

Work pattern:

This is a 12-month fixed term contract opportunity. The role is full time, with our team members working a variety of agile working patterns. Tell us what arrangement works for you and we'll try to accommodate.

Your professional experience

Experience & Skills

*Proven experience of supporting the design and delivery of complex organisational change programmes

*Strong understanding of change management principles, techniques & tools, including the ability to apply them in real-life situations

*Practical understanding of how to use change analytics to baseline and monitor progress of change

*Excellent listening and communication skills (both verbal and written)

*Strong stakeholder management skills (including senior stakeholders) and ability to build strong working relationships built on trust and respect

*Effective facilitation and influencing skills e.g. ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal

*Strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills

*Good project management and planning skills

*Analytical mindset coupled with critical thinking and good problem-solving and root cause identification skills

*Team player & able to collaborate with others in a complex and fast-moving environment

Desirable

*Experience working in professional service and/or product organisations

*Experience leading teams

*A human-centred approach coupled with design thinking experience and an understanding of the value of an intentional culture as a developing, tangible asset and differentiator

*Experience developing stories and journeys to support end-to-end transformation journey prioritising people and customer needs
