Your new job s responsible for the management of all aspects of the IT function's contribution into the Transformation Programme.Client DetailsA forward-thinking and innovative organisation based in Kent looking to on-board an IT workstream lead to forefront their portfolio of projects.DescriptionThe project manager is responsible for the management of all aspects of the IT function's contribution into the Transformation Programme; including but not limited to:organising resources and tasks,reporting against plan and escalation of items off plan,facilitating workshops and decisions,managing (internal) customer interface and expectations.

You will strive to achieve the best possible customer outcomes for the internal business unit customer, effectively balancing customer needs against resource availability, IT quality and commercial pressures.

You will employ project, service and technical management capabilities to ensure that IT's contribution is holistic and well thought out and provides the foundations for a successful future service model.

You will provide leadership through a matrix resourced structure to create a strong performance driven and customer focused culture, feeding back improvements to the various matrixed engineering functions within the IT organisation as required.ProfileThe successful candidate will have led others in the delivery of projects from inception to completion; has managed to complete project cycle of a number of IT projects. Experience of working with 3rd parities and overseas development partners and experience in dealing with complex problems and breaking them down into understandable pieces.The successful candidate will have experience of IT service management across the service life cycle (end-to-end) as well as experience in continuous process improvement and implementation of quality standards for software development processes.The successful candidate must have demonstrable expertise in proejct management methodology including life cycles, phase gates, governance and effective sponsorship.Job OfferIn return you will receive a competitive salary of up to £35,000 per annum, 24 days holiday plus bank holidays, a generous pensions scheme, private medical insurance (cash plan), life assurance, employee assistance programme and the option of working from home 2/3 days a week.
