The UK Hydrographic Office (UKHO) are looking for three Technical Product Managers to join our established team and play a key role providing technical support on our digital products and services.
We are looking for people who have the aptitude for understanding technical infrastructure and we will provide training on the technical infrastructure that supports our products and services.
These roles offer a great opportunity to become involved in new and evolving products, as well as services. Working at a fast pace in an environment where no two days are the same the successful candidates will be joining a supportive and collaborative team.

The UKHO is an executive agency, sponsored by the Ministry of Defence. We work with a wide range of data partners to chart the world's oceans in order to develop and serve world leading software and data solutions to commercial shipping companies, navies and maritime organisations.
The role
The Technical Product Manager will act as a business subject matter expert on our current and future digital products' design and functionality, working on our existing and new Navigational & No-Navigational Services.
Key responsibilities will include:
Providing technical support on ADMIRALTY digital products and services to customer services, distributors, application developers and the wider UKHO business
Identifying and designing improvements to UKHO products, services and processes
Working with product owners within an agile development team
Providing specialised input into customer and wider UKHO projects, providing the voice of the customer, and acting as senior user to accurately represent business process requirements
Aside from playing a key role in the design, development and testing of products, Technical Product Managers are also responsible for transferring knowledge through training and documentation to sales, distributors, as well as developers.
Ideal candidates will therefore be able to effectively communicate technically complex information and concepts to a wide range of stakeholders. They will also be able to quickly develop a strong technical knowledge base of our products and service.
