Job Title: Intergrated Logistics Support EngineerRate: £45 P/HLocation: Cheltenham Key Activities: Works closely with other engineering disciplines to ensure inter-disciplinary communication and development of logistics products.Oversees the Integrated Logistics Support function to include oversight of Technical Manuals, Provisioning artifacts, and other logistics products.Interprets technical contract requirements and customer product specifications to identify system or product supportability objectives, and then guides the project in compliant system development.Develops maintenance concepts, strategies, and workflows.Experience working with engineering teams to design in system supportability concepts and improvements.Experience with system design, drawings, and other source documentation to create family tree.Document's maintenance analysis in customer dictated logistic support analysis records, following specified requirements.Experience managing logistics processes and schedules. Essential Responsibilities:Leverage strong ILS and life cycle modelling skills to promote system reliability and supportability during design and to generate essential logistics products needed by the user for long-term system support, including the following:Logistics Support Analysis (LSA)Life Cycle Cost Analysis (LCC)Maintenance Support and ILS PlansLevel of Repair Analysis (LORA)Mean Time to Repair (MTTR) and Maintenance Task AnalysisSpares and Repair Parts RecommendationsSupport Equipment and Recommendations Data (SERD)Technical Manuals and Support DocumentationSupply Support (Provisioning) data QualificationsDegree in logistics engineering or other engineering field plus a minimum of ten years of related experience in maintenance planning or analysis, technical documentation development, instruction, and training development.Effective written and oral communication skills.Mental ability to perform analytical work and make determinations and decisions regarding the most cost-effective support requirements for engineering designs.Must be able to read engineering drawings, identify concerns and recommend changes.Ability to perform stand-up/laboratory instruction and documentation validation tasks for extended periods, including dismantling and reassembling hardware.Must be physically able to conduct on-site customer visits
