£40,000 - £45,000 + Healthcare + Life Assurance 3x salary + Pension Scheme + 25 days holiday (plus 8 days bank holiday) + Income protection/Sickness pay

Excellent opportunity for a Manual/Automation Tester to join a cutting edge and market leading maritime technology specialist offering autonomy, progression and excellent benefits package.

This globally recognised Marine Engineering company provide specialist infrastructure and technology services and are listed on the UK stock market. They are growing exponentially and are looking to make several hires into the testing team.

In this role you will work closely with the Project Team to understand the requirements, timelines and RAID items to then produce suitable Test Plans, Test Cases, Test Schedules, set-up the Test Environment and execute testing. You will report on test progress and make recommendations for improvements.

The ideal candidate will have both Manual & Automation test experience. You will have experience with Test Management Tools such as JIRA, Zephyr, SpiraTest, HP QC/ALM or similar and will be familiar with software version control.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Test Engineer to utilise cutting edge technology and influence key technical decisions in a leading Maritime Technology and Surveillance company.

The Role:

*Creating Test Plans, Test Cases, Test Schedules and setting up Test Environments

*Conducting analysis to determine the test conditions and acceptance criteria

*Making recommendations for testing process and best practise

*Reporting and managing defects

The Person:

*Manual & Automation test experience (preferably with Python)

* Knowledge of software version control with SVN, BitBucket or similar

*Test Management Tool experience with JIRA, Zephyr, SpiraTest , HP QC/ALM or similar

*Degree in computer science or similar would be advantageous
