This is a remote-working opportunity for a Digital Chip Lead to join one of the UK’s leading fabless IC design companies. Our client has an impressive reputation for technical excellence and year-on-year growth, having won numerous awards. They are now looking for a Digital Chip Lead to drive cutting-edge projects and manage the ASIC design and verification teams. As Digital Chip Lead you will have full autonomy for projects, from working with the customer, taking designs from specification right the way through to chip delivery. The role will involve some pre-sales contact with the customer, then managing the design and verification engineers for the project. The right candidate for the Digital Chip Lead position will be a hands-on person with strong leadership skills. A solid background in Digital RTL development and Verification is essential, experience within full-chip development, and an understanding of digital as well as some analog would be ideal.
