My client, a start-up bio pharmaceutical company based in Waterford on an Analytical Chemist role.As Analytical Chemist, you will play in an integral role in the day to day operation of the analytical laboratory and supporting new product introduction and technical transfer at the site. As Analytical Chemist, you will;Perform routine analytical activities as required to support day to day laboratory operationsPerform analytical testingPrepare and execute method transfer protocols and generate reportsMethod validation/compendial method verificationBe actively involved in internal investigations e.g. Laboratory Out of Specifications, Incidents & DeviationsEnsure that all work is carried out in compliance with the required company standards and conforms to cGxP, relevant SOPs, safety and environmental guidelinesImplement Health & Safety requirements as per site documentation including SOPs, Safety Statement Report any defects or potential hazards Education & Experience;Minimum of Bachelor's degree in pharmaceutical sciences/chemistry orchemical/bioengineering.5-years' experience in the pharmaceutical industryExperience in analytical method development, method validations, development, optimization, validation, continuous improvement, trouble shooting, tech transfer, operations, risk analyses/FMEA for drug substance (small molecules), drug product This is an excellent opportunity to join an expanding site with an excellent culture and reputation as a great place to work!
