We are looking for an InfoSec Assurance Analysts to join a reputable and tech-led business in Manchester. This forward-thinking company are currently going through a large digital transformation and with Data & Technology at the heart of this journey, there is plenty of scope for personal development & career progression!You would be responsible for the delivery & execution of InfoSec Assurance activities which assist in demonstrating that controls & processes are effectively mitigating security risks
Working closely with the Security Assurance Manager, youd play a key part in the delivery of activities against the line of defence plan, reporting on findings & the effective management of corrective actions in collaboration with the rest of the business.
Skills & Experience:
* Experience assisting with the information security assurance & assessment reviews & audits of controls, processes and procedures across the business
* Assistance with testing activities (Phishing Testing)
* Control assessment and auditing experience
* Experience in information or Cyber security is desired; however, some experience with technical controls is essential
* Willingness to learn and study towards InfoSec qualifications
* Knowledge of Information Security frameworks & standards is desired (e.g ISO 27001)
* Strong communication skills
This will be a broad role that will give you exposure across the Information Security remit, a strong desire to learn is a must for this role!
You must be a commutable distance from Manchester for adhoc travel.
