Specialist Network Designer - Network Design - (Remote) - 12 monthsOur client, a market leading multi-national technology company are looking for a Specialist Network Designer, to join them remotely. The assignment is an initial 12-month contract and can offer a competitive daily rate.Role Overview:This is an exciting time as we support large scale client transformation across a wide range of technologies. In this crucial role as a Specialist Network Designer, you'll work with our client's team supporting one of their largest clients globally.Responsibilities to Include:Design of Site Level Documentation and High-level Documentation, Implementation plans and peer reviewing other Designer work. Support out of hours implementation of design. Provides consultancy on network designs for multiple platforms and/or solutions and/or customersDevelops design patterns across multiple domains.Drives Right First-Time solutions and leads lessons learnedProposes technical strategy to network platforms and/or customer solutions factoring in high impact and high risk as appropriate.Drives efficiency and scalability through the re-use of network designs and accountable for the design whilst it is deployed across the overall network platform and/or customer solution.Decides on design scope for leading edge, high impact, and high-risk network platforms and/or customer solutionsDecides on the time and type of resource needed to support deliverables for complex, high impact and high value projects.Provide design authority for complex solutions and/or platform designs.Decides on network models for design testingDecides on approach to resolving customer affected issues to leading edge high impact and high-risk network platforms and/or customer solutions, as appropriate.Resolves in-life issues to high risk and high impact network platforms and/or customer solutions, as appropriateRaising previously undiscovered vulnerabilities in OS Code into Vendor support channels What do I need to be considered for this position?Must possess ISE knowledge, DNA Centre experience and Wireless CCNP or equivalent and be UK based as customer is UK basedExperience of designing & deploying IP LAN/WAN/WLAN networksExperience in designing and deploying DNA Centre solutionsExperience in designing and deploying solutions on Cisco Wireless platformsExperience in designing and deploying solutions on Cisco authentication platformsUnderstanding of the industry trends and future directionCCNP/CCIE, other vendor equivalent, or evidence or relevant industry experience as this levelCCNP or higher qualificationSolid understanding of software defined principlesExperience in designing and deploying Cisco DNA Centre solutionsExperience in designing and deploying solutions on Cisco Catalyst 9800 WLCsExperience in designing and deploying Cisco ISE (Identity Service Engine) solutionsExperience in designing and deploying Cisco SDA solutionsExperience of designing and deploying Cisco SD-WAN solutionsKnowledge of IoT/Cloud ServicesSpecialist Network Designer - Network Design - (Remote) - 12 months
