A well-known alternative Asset Management Firm is looking for a new Senior Data Steward to join their growing Technology divisionClient DetailsSenior Data Steward - Alternative Asset Management The organisation is a well known Asset Management firm employing around 1,500 people across multiple jurisdictions. DescriptionSenior Data Steward - Alternative Asset Management This role will centre on creating, performing, monitoring and enforcement of data governance standards and MDM processes for the organisation's Azure Data Platform. Providing technical expertise in managing the data life cycle and maintaining accurate technical and procedural documentation. Whist officially based from their Southampton office the organisation allow hybrid or fully remote working, (whichever is preferred). Key responsibilities: Establish data governance definitions, standards and policies for master data, to ensure its accuracy, completeness, and validity Maintain a comprehensive data catalogue of our principle data assets, documenting data quality standards, maintaining data dictionaries and compiling a central business glossary Administer and optimise theMDM solution and relatedworkflows to: Monitor data quality and conformance to policies. Enforcing applicable standards, carrying out remediation actions or communicating issues as required Perform key integration processes, matching and merging records ingested from multiple systems, in collaboration with business data owners Curate and maintain master data Golden Records for downstream analytics and reporting Deploy new or implement changes to existing MDM workflows in line with the organisation's Change Management Framework Document and adhere to data platform policies, procedures and standards Collaborate with a range of internal or external stakeholders and contractors to develop data quality frameworks and MDM solutions Maintain professional and technical knowledge of the evolving MDM landscape through continual professional development ProfileSenior Data Steward - Alternative Asset Management Skills, knowledge and expertise: Proven experience working with MDM and data quality frameworks Experience using Azure Purview and Profisee or similar applications Exposure to Azure services such as DevOps, Data Factory, DataBricks or Power BI is an advantage Some knowledge or exposure to SQL and RegEx is an advantage Experience working with relational databases is beneficial Ability to compile accurate and concise technical documentation Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Good interpersonal and communication skills Attainment of or ambition to complete relevant Azure certifications Job OfferA basic salary of up to £90,000 depending upon experienceExcellent company benefits including discretionary bonusHybrid or fully remote working (whichever is preferred)
