As part of a freelance assignment for a client based in Belgium, we are looking for engineers and computer scientists for the design of complex electronic devices and the writing of software applications on PC platforms.Function:Developing low level software and Linux drivers on an embedded platform. As an Embedded Development Engineer you help to define, analyse, develop, validate and document low level software for various products/projects.This in various sectors (transport, automotive, telecom, medical…).Profile:You have knowledge of C & C++ programmingYou have experience with scripting in Python, Perl, Bash…You have knowledge of embedded operating systems Linux, Android, eCos, QNX, FreeRTOS, VxWorksYou have knowledge of microcontroller & microprocessor based systemsYou are at home in electronics, embedded system design, low-level hardware/software interaction…Knowledge of project methodologies such as Agile & Scrum are certainly an added value
