We're looking for DevOps Engineers to join our DWP Digital community.
We design, develop, maintain and modernise digital services that millions of people across the UK rely on to access payments, support and to find work. And we need top digital talent to be part of our transformation.
Our DevOps Engineers build fully automated and verifiable infrastructure and pipelines for the UK's largest and most complex government department. We work with multi-functional agile delivery teams in a hybrid cloud environment using tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Kubernetes.
We're working at home at the moment because of Covid-19, and our offer includes hybrid home/hub based working.

What skills, knowledge and experience will you need?
Providing technical leadership and support within a team of DevOps Engineers.
Linux Operating Systems, Python and Helm.
Infrastructure-as-code across cloud providers using Ansible.
Configuration-as-code across cloud and on-premise environments using Ansible.
Version Controls systems (Git and GitLab CI).
Working in an agile environment building, deploying, supporting, and operating cloud applications (in particular AWS and Azure).
Containers and containerised workloads e.g. orchestration services such as OpenShift, Kubernetes and ISTIO.
