Senior Application Support Engineer London to £80k

Senior Application Support Engineer (Linux SQL Networking). Would you like to take on an impactful and high responsibility role as a Senior Application Support Engineer within a leading FinTech company?

As a Senior Application Support Engineer you will join a collaborative team who oversee client support. Your duties will vary and include; overseeing monitoring and alerting systems (missing files, error handling, hardware issues), dealing with escalated helpdesk support and working with software developers to help perform complex fixes.

Based in the heart of London you will join a friendly and supportive team within a technology driven company where you will be able to gain exposure to a wide range of technologies and develop your understanding of financial trading systems. You'll have work from home flexibility allowing you to work from home up to 2 days a week. 

Requirements:

Previous experience as an Application Support Engineer with strong Linux, SQL and Networking skills

Leadership / mentoring experience ideally and keen to step up into a lead position

Degree educated in Computer Science or similar 2:1 or above

Strong problem solving skills

Excellent communication and collaboration skills
