As an IT Helpdesk Officer you will:
*Support your department and/or team in a way which will contribute to its smooth and efficient operation
*Log, update and close calls in a professional manner ensuring that call details are accurate and extensive enough to be used effectively by anyone in IT for purposes ranging from support provision through to call review and statistical analysis.
*To provide regular updates to the IT team on progress made in relation to helpdesk incidents and user profiles/permissions in question
*To act as the first point of contact for internal and external communications relating to IT service provision
*Provide pro-active technical support to NICE Staff
*To set up and maintain user and email accounts
*Set up of new laptops for new starters, replacement equipment etc
*Troubleshoot hardware, software and basic networking faults investigating causes, diagnosing faults and researching and implementing solutions
*To ensure that all duties are performed in accordance with statutory requirements, NICE policies and best practice guidelines
*Carry out PC/Laptop/VDI (computer equipment) installation and configuration of hardware and software
