Junior Software Developer / Engineer London to £60k

Junior Software Developer / Engineer (Java Spring) *Hybrid WfH*. Would you like to work on complex and interesting systems that provide daily challenges; collaborate with a friendly and upbeat team and gain valuable knowledge of real-time, low latency trading systems?

As a Junior Software Developer you will design and develop complex real-time, low latency trading systems and execution services within a microservices environment. You'll focus on backend Java systems and will gain exposure to a wide range of tech including SpringBoot for microservices, continually learning and developing your skills as part of a supportive Agile team.

There's currently a remote interview / onboarding process as well as work from home during the current social distancing measures with a great deal of flexibility going forwards (2 days office, flexible start times); when you are in the office you'll be based in the City with an upbeat team environment, casual dress code and a range of facilities including roof terrace and break out areas.

Requirements:

You have commercial core Java backend software development

You have strong logic and problem solving skills

You have the aptitude and desire to learn, with a keen interest in SpringBoot microservices

You're a collaborative team member with great communication skills and a genuine enthusiasm for technology

You're degree educated, Computer Science ideally
