Here at innocent, we want to continue growing at pace and do this in the right way for the planet. We've been on a journey over the past couple of years, starting the revolution to our core bits of technology and all of the processes we use with the intention to make sure our business runs as smoothly and efficiently as possible as it grows. We're coming to the end of our biggest ever change programme after implementing an ERP and PLM solution and we need some brilliant people to continue the ongoing transformation, to make sure we're supporting the running of our day to day operation and to ensure we stick to our goals of keeping things simple as our business evolves over the coming years. We're a small but perfectly formed team of system analysts and solution architects obsessed with doing the right thing for innocent, in the right way and passionate about bringing our key users along with us. A bit about the role:
We have an opportunity for a Lead Solution Architect to join our technical transformation team. This role is a totally new one for this team and is all about making sure our technology and processes work as one to achieve innocents growth ambitions and support our shiny new blender to become the earth's first carbon neutral manufacturing site.As Lead Solution Architect you'll be responsible for leading analysis and determining the best solution and technical design across innocents application landscape. The technical landscape at innocent is large, complex and encompasses many systems, as Lead Solution Architect it will be your responsibility to design and improve end to end solutions that meet business needs, industry and technical best practices. Working closing with other teams across Business Operations you will help understand end users requirements and provide thought leadership on the art of the possible within D365, legacy systems and wider Microsoft technology stack. You will play a pivotal role in making technical changes across different IT environments and deploying changes into test and live environments. As a line manager you will be responsible managing and mentoring System Analysts who are responsible for making D365 configuration changes to meet project requirements. As . This is a new role within the Technical Platform Team, reporting into the Technical Platform Lead What you'll be doing:
As a Solution Architect you will be leading the design and quality assurance activities ensuring fixes, enhancements and future transformations of our technology deliver innocents growth ambitions; whilst also ensuing meets tech best practice and makes commercial sense. You will be undertaking these activities across the following areas: Act as a design authority within the solution governance processes ensuring innocents design principles are maintained across end to end integration, data, security and application architectures Work with internal and external teams to ensure the delivery of a best practice solution design that meets business requirements, design principles and is value for money. Work with project/ programme teams with a delivery focus to ensure build, migration, testing and cutover activities are successful. Review all internal and external created solution documentation to ensuring they deliver best practice, design principles and the correct solution design is delivered Participate in the Environment and Release Management process advising the Release Manager on the risks and approach to Release Management Keep abreast of the MS solution/ functional road map and advise technical and business teams on upgrades, road maps and MS innovations. Working with / managing our technology providers (think HSO, Outperform etc.) to find the right solution for innocent for any changes we need to make and ensuring they deliver on the service we need them to provide Work with our Chief Architect to ensure future growth plans are aligned to partner software road maps and business requirements you'll have Experience of design processes and holistic thinking is a must in this role, as deep knowledge of D365 and the Drop1 as-is technical solution. Alongside that, you'll also have; Deep functional experience across MS D365 and/ or deep software engineering experience within FMCG Experience of integration of MS D365 to other MS applications and legacy applications Experience of managing a solution governance and change request process At least 2 major implementation lifecycles completed within a complex application landscape Line management experience of managing groups of functional or system analyst resources Can work at all levels of the business from presenting to senior stakeholders, to interacting with middle management or end users to gather requirements. Has experience of managing third party System Integrator design and build activity, with a good understanding of the commercial implications of the relationship you'll get A chance to be part of the biggest transformation programme innocent has ever seen and learn a whole bunch of new skills, working alongside a great bunch in our project delivery team.
