Backend Developer London to £115k Backend Developer (Java Distributed Systems Kafka Kubernetes AWS SpringBoot). Would you like to utilise your Backend Developer skills within a growing FinTech that works with a number of well-known global companies? As a Backend Developer you'll be joining a brand new team who are responsible for managing, designing and developing the core components that underpin the company's core banking platform. You'll be looking at the existing components and at system design problems to make improvements utilising a range of tools and technologies including Java 11, SpringBoot, Kotlin, Kafka and Kubernetes. This is an exciting chance to be part of a team who are at the centre of engineering excellence and set the standards for the rest of the engineering teams to aspire to. You can work from home for this role as long as you are able to commute to the London based office 1 day a week. Requirements: Strong Java 11 and SpringBoot development skills Experience working on distributed systems with a focus on scalability, robustness and availability Experience using Kafka Good knowledge of Kubernetes Experience consulting with various engineering teams Excellent communication and collaboration skillsAs a Backend Developer you can expect to earn a competitive salary (up to £115k) plus bonus and benefits.
