As Head of IT you will be responsible for leading transformational change to enable the delivery of improved and agile solutions across UK and European operations. Client DetailsMichael Page Technology are delighted to have partnered with a global manufacturing business to support them with the recruitment of a newly created Head of IT role based in the UK supporting a global transformation programme. DescriptionWhat you'll be doing:As Head of IT you will be responsible for leading transformational change to enable the delivery of improved and agile solutions across UK and European operations. You will lead on delivering customer facing systems and planning solutions, develop the UK IT team to drive SLA's and the system support structures to deliver cost effective supplier partnership management.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain effective relationships with senior stakeholders throughout the organisations.Develop and implement supplier strategy that delivers cost effective and technical excellence.Develop business cases and planning processes to address prioritisation of solutions via the IT Support infrastructure.Lead and develop the team - this may include outsourced staff bought in for specific projects.Lead process and data error resolution by applying critical thinking and teamwork skills.Identify and implement new solutions to meet the needs of a growthDeliver to Global IT KPI's to measure the success of IT service solutions and platforms.Work with internal and external teams to ensure stability of ERP services.Deliver the strategy for modernised customer facing order to cash and distribution systems and information flows including platforms like CRM, Web Portal, E-Commerce and ERP integration.Provide leadership in the delivery and enhancement of our ERP solutions and associated IT services.Key AccountabilitiesEnsure IT Infrastructure & Security operational solutions are robust and secure.Define and implement best practice including service level agreements in respect of service availability, change management and non-conformance resolution.Lead the delivery of the B2C/B2B CRM platform with ERP integration including managing the development of e-commerce.Develop supplier relationships to ensure service levels can be delivered to expectations.Ensure continuous improvement across the IT function to meet service and regulatory requirements.Budget responsibility for IT services relating to personnel, hardware, and software expenditure.Lead and inspire customer excellence culture within the IT function to develop relationships between business functions.ProfileKey Skills & Experience:Significant experience in an IT Leadership role, ideally managing large scale organisations.Experience implementing CRM and management of ERP solutions at a senior business partner level.Experience of high-volume transactional business in a retail distribution environment.Strong process knowledge and technical skills.Previous implementation of full systems and processes for acquisitions.A thorough understanding of end-to-end businesses processes in an e-commerce, CRM environment.Technical skills with the ability to interpret and present data.Ability to analyse business trends and manage budgets.Ability to lead and motivate teams, providing development support and coaching, managing staff remotely.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Project planning and management skills.Ability to communicate to technical and non-technical colleagues.Job OfferSalary & Benefits:Salary range - £75k - negotiable dependent upon experience.Remote position - Occasional site visits to Derby & ShrewsburyPrivate Healthcare - (AXA PPE).Annual leave - 25 days plus statutory Bank Holidays.Defined contribution company pension scheme - Company defined contribution pension scheme via salary sacrifice - EE minimum 6.25% & ER static 10%.Opportunity for flexible working pattern.Company funded employee assistance program.Salary sacrifice scheme for childcare vouchers for those already in a scheme.
