Job DescriptionA global retail bank which supports individuals nationwide has an opportunity within it's Cybersecurity Function for a Firewall Engineer!

Role & ResponsibilitiesYou will have the opportunity to drive the vision for a variety of security product and design solutions, analysing and meeting user requirements for network defence technologies Web Application Firewall (WAF) and Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS).Participating in and taking responsibility for the successful implementation of security operations requirements, and developing them into solutionsWorking closely with on-shore and off-shore teams to enhance/upgrade/uplift existing services and provide L3 support yes line 3 supportTaking the lead on the design, development and delivery of product roadmaps to support the evolution of core security services

Skills & QualificationsExperience of working within Financial Services is preferred Kona Site Defender experience or SimilarRelevant professional certifications in information technology or cloud security e.g. CISSP, CCSPBasic/Intermediate level of scripting/coding ability e.g. python, powershell, etc
