Job Purpose

To drive improvements in productivity, collaboration & efficiencies across SAGE using technology. To evangelize new and existing technologies with a focus on Microsoft 365, increasing adoption, guiding best practice, facilitating creative technical problem solving of internal customer challenges and adding real value to SAGE. To use your technical expertise to empower, coach and guide others towards solving problems themselves.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Technical evangelist for productivity technologies with a passion for co-creating technical solutions with internal customers. Solve productivity problems through adhoc solution development, direct engagement, and partnerships.

Get the most out of our applications, services and products through solid stakeholder management and strong technical foundations.

Build relationships with key members of other core business functions and Technology teams, looking to create a community of expert users. Influencing others to adopt core supported, secure and licensed technologies.

Provide subject matter expertise to our training and internal communications teams around the Microsoft 365 productivity suite.

Working closely with internal customers providing modern and flexible ways of working, exploiting data and intelligence, improving the stakeholder experience with improved information management.

Develop use cases and content for learning experiences focusing on user adoption, collaboration, and productivity. Lead projects that help internal customers get the best out of end user products and services.

Keep yourself up to date of the latest digital and technology developments and the Microsoft 365 roadmap. Represent SAGE at events and conferences and look for new opportunities within the space

Leverage your technical knowledge to write, produce and present technical articles, videos and presentations. Keep up to date on technology advances and share expertise as an active member of the user community.

Undertake maintenance and development of SharePoint sites and sub sites, lists, libraries, and content (including pages, workflows, items, permissions, and access)

Be responsible for the management and governance of productivity and collaboration tools

Be part of a self-managed, autonomous team, working together to provide the right approach.

Using technology to work towards creating a Lean and efficient environment

Uphold security and privacy standard practices and ensure that security is embedded in each activity.

Continually learn and facilitate the democratization of technology.

SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Comprehensive knowledge of multiple technical areas: Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Power Suite, cloud products, software scalability, security, and technical debt.

Ability to be flexible and organised with a product backlog and multiple inflight products and projects.

Good communicator and comfortable talking to people, both individually and in front of a grou

Able to influence while problem solving and build customer and partner relationships

Experienced in providing technical support, training, and guidance to a global audience

Be able to work independently and cross-collaborate, working in a fast-paced environment where technology and customer requirements change regularly.

Possess a passion for technology, continuous learning, problem-solving, and critical thinking.

Consultant - £450 to £660 per day

Permanent - £40,000 to £55,000 per annum
