Senior Telecoms Engineer - £35k - Flexible Working - Company Car - Bonus - Company Laptop and PhoneOpportunity:
A highly reputable network and cloud consultancy is hiring a Senior Telecoms Engineer who has strong technical capabilities within Panasonic/NEC/Mitel/Horizon or SpliceCom. This position is paying a basic salary of £30,000 to £35,000 + car / cash allowance + bonus.
Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager, responsible for the configuration, installation, fit and test, commissioning and support of the Company's portfolio of voice and data networking products and services, including PBX, Cloud voice platforms, connectivity and associated CPE, number porting and IP addressing.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Installation and support of telecommunications and data products.
Liaison with Project Management and Project Coordination Team, understanding project requirements, project timelines, implementing works accordingly with proactive communication throughout.
Provide base level user training on completion of installations. Provide end users with user guides and supporting documents.
Manage user access to systems and equipment through account management and password administration.
Ensuring site specific rules, Risk and Method Statements are adhered to, and deviations or changes reported to the Service Delivery Manager.
Completion of all pre/post project documentation and processes.
Dealing with customer reported cases, closing support tickets in compliance with service level agreements, using and following prescribed systems and processes.
Revise and update technical documentation accordingly.
Maintain the cleanliness of all sites and report any defects/problems.
Perform risk assessments.
Escalation with customers and suppliers as appropriate.
Planned Preventative maintenance. Perform preventive maintenance, backup, or recovery procedures.
Equipment and system fault detection, analysis and rectification.
Site surveys and the production of reports.
Liaising with MPS logistics team ensuring that all vehicle stock is kept up to date to facilitate all field-based duties.
Clear and professional communication with MPS staff, customers and suppliers.
Core skill requirements:
Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proven experience as a highly skilled telecoms engineer
Have experience working with a MSP or ISP (Desirable)
Knowledge of one of the below technologies

Panasonic
NEC
Mitel
