Senior Analog IC Design Engineer - High Speed

A unique opportunity has arisen with a Global Semiconductor company based in the Cambridge area. In this role the Senior Analog IC Design Engineer will be responsible for design of ultra-high-speed Analog/Mixed-Signal ICs for optical communication systems, including ADCs/data converters, drivers, TIAs, and clocking. You will be responsible for system or block level specification breakdown, design constraints and testing solutions for different circuit blocks or modules. Cooperating with fabrication process engineering team to improve the device performance and ensure IC quality, reliability and yield. Industry degree qualified the successful applicant will have a minimum of 5 years experience in Analog IC Design ideally high speed or High Frequency/RF IC Design experience.   Strong circuit design experience is required in advanced CMOS, SiGe, GaAs or HBT processes. Familiarity with semiconductor fabrication process including CMOS and compound HBTs is ideal. Excellent communication skills in English are required along with the ability to show initiative.
