Established over 25 years ago, this rapidly expanding business design, manufacture and service a range of exciting and innovative products. Due to continued growth throughout the last 12 months, they are now looking for an additional R&D Electronics Technician to join the team.

In this role you will work closely with and be mentored by a senior electronics engineer, who will help guide you into an industry specialist. You will be responsible for providing electronics focused technical support to the R&D, Engineering and Manufacturing teams. You will oversee your own projects, and will assist in design, manufacturing and testing of NPD prototypes. You will fault find and repair faulty PCB assemblies and create electronics test rigs.

The Role:Graduate R&D Electronics TechnicianDesign and build rigs for testing of PCB assemblies and other production itemsSupport the Engineering and Manufacturing teams to fault find electronics related production problems.Fault finding and re-work of faulty PCB assemblies, records faults to assist in improvement of product quality and reliability.£25'000-£30'000 DOE + Training, Development, Progression, Pension and Benefits

To apply for this role you must have:A HNC/HND/Degree in Electronics or Software EngineeringGood electronic fault finding, repair and diagnostic skillsAbility to read electrical wiring diagrams and schematic layoutsTeam player, good written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
