Do you have a passion and mindset for analytics, digesting data, investigating trends and problem solving? Have you recently been involved in an IT Service, Change, Data or Reporting Analyst based role and are now looking to progress your career within an IT Service Management environment? If so, this role as an IT Service Management Analyst will be a great opportunity for you!

This role offers a hybrid of office and home working (up to two days at home and three days in the office). However, government guidelines will take precedence.

The role

This is way more than merely a data crunching role! We are consistently looking to evolve the service we offer to our customers. This is a great opportunity to contribute and help drive change in the way the function operates, ensuring best practice processes are adopted and service management tooling fits the requirements of our business.

As the Service Management Analyst, you will be responsible for producing and assuring reporting on all aspects of IT Service Management in our ITIL best practice aligned environment. In particular, you will ensure we meet agreed key performance indicators (KPIs) and other critical targets.

You will also:

provide proactive and reactive analysis to identify root cause of issues and trends in performance

identify opportunities to continuously improve

facilitate the IT Change Enablement Process

analyse and manage change requests within our Service Management tool (Hornbill)

What do I need to be considered?

This is a fast-paced and varied role, where your input will help drive the IT department forward, which in turn will have a positive impact on our customers across the business.

To be considered for this opportunity, it is essential that you possess the following skills and experience;

experience in an ITIL best practice environment

excellent communication skills

the ability to create, analyse, assure and present performance reporting

strong problem-solving skills and a keen investigative approach

experience working with SLAs, KPIs or in a target driven environment.

If you also have the following experience, then perfect. However, if you don't, it's not a problem as we are keen to develop and upskill our colleagues to be the best they can be.

IT Service Management tools

Microsoft Power BI or similar report creation software

ITIL v3 or 4 Foundation level certification.
