Job DescriptionAre you seeking a new project management opportunity? I am currently recruiting for two PM roles within an exciting software development company based locally in Belfast. The roles in question will be of a hybrid nature with the ability to work from and office based/client visits on a weekly basis.

Role & ResponsibilitiesCreation and ownership of Project Plans, Project Control Documents, Project Reports.Management of overall project deliverables and each project Stage deliverables.Management of commercial aspects of the project (charging, costs, alignment to contracted commitments, etc). Identification and management of project Risks and Issues.Assist with the analysis and documentation of customer requirements.Organise and assist with customer workshops and customer project meetings.Manage internal Project Board meetings.Identify project resource requirements both personnel and equipment, and liaise with departmental managers regarding project resource allocation.Communicate up and down the team structure.Provide input into departmental resourcing and financial reporting and forecasting.Resolve client issues working at both process and technical level suggesting relevant approaches.Assist pre-sales activities as required, including provision of project plans, risk registers and costings.

Skills & QualificationsWaterfall and agile project delivery methodologies. PRINCE2 Practitioner certification required by some clients; other accreditation's also expected (for example, APM, PMI, Agile / Agile Project Management, etc).Project management within a software development environment, with a track record in successful delivery of such projects within customer and commercial expectations.Ideally software development projects involved a high level of customisation to ensure the final output was bespoke and in accordance with the clients' requirements.Experience of management of work items in DevOps or JIRA.Full understanding of the software development lifecycle.Experience managing resources in diverse geographies (ideally globally).Experience in risk analysis and management.Can demonstrate large-scale software development projects exposure in terms of scope and management of personnel (Senior PM role)To arrange a confidential call to discuss this opportunity in more detail, please send through your CV to [email protected].
