We're Kingfisher. You might know us as one of our Banners - B&Q, Screwfix, Castorama, Brico Depot or Koçta?. We're made up of over 78,000 passionate people, call over 1,300 stores home and operate in 8 countries. That's right, we're big, but we have ambitions to become even bigger and even better. We want to become the leading home improvement company and grow the largest community of home improvers in the world. And hopefully that's where you come in!

We're undergoing an enormous transformation as we shift to build technology into more of our processes and enable more digital sales. That means Information, Security and Risk (ISR) has never been more important. We're rapidly growing our technological capabilities in every single area of the business and our role in ISR is to be one step ahead. Combine that with the fact that we're supporting seven different banners across Europe, and you'll start to understand how complex and how exciting that role is.

We are looking for an Information Security Analyst to join our amazing ISR function here at Kingfisher's Group Technology function, reporting directly to one of our Information, Security & Risk Managers. The Information Security Analyst will support the ISR Manager in ensuring that the Banner (B&Q, Screwfix etc.) risks and threats are handled in line with their risk appetite. They will do this by providing technical expertise and interpreting data to determine the risks that exist, and the action required to mitigate them.

Key Accountabilities:

Support the Information Security & Risk Managers in providing support services to the Banners.

Develop strong relationships with Banner/Group Function to enable the delivery of effective support.

Educate Banner/Group Functions colleagues on cybersecurity-related matters to increase awareness and improve culture.

Identify opportunities to improve and increase the services to the Banner/Group Function.

Ensure all solutions are delivered ‘Secure by Design'.

Perform supplier assurance reviews in support of legal and commercial activities.

Execute assurance reviews against Kingfisher Information Security policies and standards to ensure IT systems continue to operate securely.

What Experience are we looking for?

Experience in information security management principles or strong technical skills.

Capability of discussing information security issues in a non-technical way.

Basic understanding of the business relevance of information security risks and the current trends and developments in information security.

An ability to work on several tasks simultaneously and pay attention to sources of information from inside and outside one's network within an organization.

An ability to apply original and innovative thinking to produce new ideas.

Excellent prioritization capabilities, with an aptitude for breaking down work into manageable parts, effectively assessing the priority and time required to complete each part.

Has good judgment, a sense of urgency and has demonstrated commitment to high standards of ethics, regulatory compliance, customer service and business integrity.

Strong team values, recognises the value of a positive team environment and contributes to the creation of this.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our global business. In return, we provide an inspirational working environment, a competitive benefits package and opportunities to stretch and grow your career. Interested? Great, apply now!
