QA Analyst - Electronic Trading Front Office Rates/FX - Investment Bank

The role of the QA Analyst will be to:

- work with BAs to refine business specifications

- define and produce testing plan and participate in user acceptance testing

- carry out functional, performance and regression tests

- liaise with Dev teams to ensure accurate functional coverage and validate test scenarios

- ensure all appropriate tests are of high quality and accuracy

- manage and escalate risks and issues

- assist in defining automation testing procedures and automated tests packs

- coordinate component releases in different environments

This is a hands-on role which requires a good understanding of Rates flow products especially on the electronic trading side, strong analytical skills and a high level of accuracy when defining business specifications and testing scenarios.

Essential Experience

Have a strong expertise in quality assurance of front office projects

Have a strong expertise e-Commerce IT projects

Strong interest in continuous improvement and all aspects of software development and delivery

Experience working in an agile team.

Good understanding of test driven development and continuous integration practices

Strong communication skills, both orally and in writing, inside and outside the team.

Desire to learn quickly and ability to adapt to a fast changing environment.

Strong problem solving skills.

Comfortable dealing with numbers.

Solid academic background in engineering, sciences or economics.

Working knowledge of standard QA tools like ALM

Financial product knowledge in any of Rates, Credit, FX Cash or FX Options products.

Experience working with large Real Time financial trading applications.
