Job Title: IT Analyst Reports to: Senior Director, Head of IT Salary Range: Competitive Salary commensurate with experience; comprehensive Benefits package Duration of Post: Full Time Working Hours: 35 hours per week, with some occasional out-of-office hours according to company needs Location: London Office (at least 3 days in office for UK employees and optional up to 2 days working from home) THE COMPANY Mereo is an international, clinical-phase biotech company with a focus on rare diseases and oncology. Our vision and mission are to bring safe and effective first-in-class treatments to areas of high unmet medical need. Founded in 2015, we currently have 3 development programmes, in oncology and rare diseases. These are : i) an anti-TIGIT being investigated in a range of rare tumours and gynonc tumours ii) a neutrophil elastase inhibitor being investigated in the rare disease Alpha-1 Anti-trypsin Deficiency and iii) an anti-sclerostin antibody being developed for the rare disease osteogenesis imperfecta by our partner Ultragenyx Pharmaceuticals We aspire to harness the energy, drive, commitment and focus of a small company to build value into all our programmes and to work closely with all stakeholders in order to accomplish this.  CURRENT COMPANY SET-UP The Mereo, London office is operating normal business hours. Employees are asked to observe hand sanitising guidelines whilst working in the office. THE POST Purpose of the IT Analyst role: We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated professional to grow the IT Team to provide support and assistance to the Head of IT. Main Responsibilities: Assist colleagues at all levels of the organization, providing physical as well as remote assistance and training when required, including setting up and configuring workstations and equipment, including video conferencing. Responsible for the IT Helpdesk system aligned to ITIL standards. Documentation and logging of all IT Equipment and maintenance of IT Inventory levels. Assist in the specification, configuration, and maintenance of all IT Systems in use across the organization. Assistance with project work and testing systems. Any other tasks within the remit of this role THE PERSON NOTE: Applicants who have not clearly demonstrated on their CV that they possess the essential experience and knowledge will not be short-listed. Desirable elements are those that is would be useful for the post-holder to possess and will be used to assist the short-listing process where we receive a large volume of highly qualified applications. The skills, capabilities and qualities section will be assessed during the interview process. Essential Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills. Excellent documentation skills & knowledgeable of ITIL. Ability to provide physical as well as remote assistance where required. Demonstrable experience with Microsoft Windows Operating Systems and Server Stack, Hyper-V, SQL, and Remote Desktop. Experience of Active Directory, including Group Policy & domain trusts. Excellent skills with desktop Windows operating systems, including the full Microsoft Office Suite & technical desktop troubleshooting. Knowledge of Office 365, including Teams, Exchange Online and inTune. Knowledge of Azure, including SSO & AD Sync & hosting VMs. Knowledge of Networking principles, including Cisco. Knowledge of Cyber Security and Data Protection, including the GDPR. Familiar with testing methodologies. Desirable Knowledgeable of Prince2 or other project management methodology. Experience with other virtualisation platforms, such as VMware, and Storage Area Networks. Previous experience integrating systems following company mergers and acquisitions. Ability to use Windows Deployment Server (or similar) for build & deployment. Previous experience of other Device Management systems. Knowledge of other Networking vendors, such as Meraki, HP Aruba, Palo Alto, Dell. Knowledge of HIPAA. Knowledge of Document Management and Financial Systems. Knowledge of telephony via Teams. Knowledge of Linux Operating Systems. Working knowledge of AWS. Familiar with testing methodologies. Education, Qualifications & Training Education: Degree Level or Qualified IT Apprentice Languages: English Knowledge & Experience: At least 5 years' working experience in an IT Support environment Skills, Capabilities & Qualities
