ANDROID DEVELOPER - 6 MONTH CONTRACT - OUTSIDE IR35 - MARKET RATE - ASAP START!Jefferson Frank is looking for an Android Developer to join our growing team based in London (or anywhere as we are happy to support remote working).You will be working in a small team to maintain and develop our Android Mobile Device Management (MDM) solution.You'll get to work with a variety of Android devices from different manufacturers and will primarily be responsible for the development and ongoing support of our device-agnostic API making the bridge.What you'll be doing: Android Developer - Mobile Device ManagementAssess manufacturer's SDKs and integrate them with our software stackAssist with the development of our Android MDMCollaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new featuresWork with outside data sources and APIsUnit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliabilityWork on bug fixing and improving application performance Must Haves:Experience of developing Android applications, with a very good understanding of Android internals Experience with (in preferred order) AOSP development or JNI or low level Android development (ie: services, content providers)Fully up to date with the latest Android SDK and associated librariesExperience Working with REST APIs and JSONExperience with Android MDM APIs and EMM provisioningExperience writing SDKs / libraries along with their documentationIf you are interested or know anyone interested, please don't hesitate to get in touch with me! email [email protected] or we can have a confidential chat over phone, please call 0203 879 8369 (ext 8369) or click apply on the advert and I will get back to you ASAP.
