We are looking for a ServiceNow System Administrator to join our Technology team at the Parliamentary Digital Service (PDS). As a ServiceNow System Administrator, you will design, develop and configure the ServiceNow platform as we transform the services PDS provides by automating manual processes through the development of digital workflows.

You will perform the day-to-day administration of the ServiceNow platform, manage lifecycle upgrades and provide support to end users. You'll proactively identify platform enhancements to maximise value, working with colleagues across the Digital Service and beyond to enable both Houses of Parliament to meet their strategic and business objectives.

This is a new capability for Parliament and you will need to add value at pace. You will be a self-starter with the ability to hit the ground running and a propensity to learn fast. This role may have future line management responsibilities, as the platform evolves.

You must have strong ServiceNow and service management experience, a wide range technical of understanding including JavaScript, be a keen problem solver and have great relationship and influencing skills. Further details can be found in the JD.

Parliament is currently going through an exciting period of digital transformation to deliver excellent digital services. The Parliamentary Digital Service (PDS) works with the House of Commons, the House of Lords, as well as Parliament staff on their IT and digital needs. We think it's important that everyone can access and understand what's going on in Parliament. Our goal is to bring together the public, Parliament Members, and Parliamentary staff to inform, engage, support, and communicate through one, unified digital core.

We offer an attractive range of benefits including 30 days' annual leave (increasing to 35 after a year's service), contributory pension scheme, Employee Assistance Programme, great training and development programmes, access to various facilities (on-site gym, nursery, hairdressers, post office, travel office and cash machines) and much more.

Before applying, please ensure you have read through the requirements and additional information as laid out in both the Job Description & Candidate Information Pack.

When applying, you will be required to submit a CV and Supporting Statement. In your Supporting Statement, you must demonstrate your suitability in no more than 500 words using the first five criterion listed in The Requirements section of the Job Description. As our application process is anonymous, please ensure there is no personally identifiable information (such as your name) contained within your attachments and in the filenames.

As part of the interview process, there will be a presentation to prepare for. Further details will be sent nearer to the time.

We champion a diverse and inclusive working environment which promotes equality, diversity and inclusion for all regardless of age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage/civil partnership, pregnancy/maternity, race, religion/belief, sex or sexual orientation. We welcome applications from people who feel under-represented in the workforce in addition to those who may feel disadvantaged because of their social and/or economic circumstances.
