Design Director needed for a start up in one of the most up and coming markets of all! RSU will be part of your attractive salary package as design Director. As the Design Director you are expected to grow an already established design team located in Austria.  The site includes labs, networking, and infrastructure. As the successful Design Director you have extensive experience in analog and mixed signal development. Technical Lead and Management experience from within Analog Mixed Signal IC Design Development in a Semiconductor company is essential. You will spend 20 - 30% of your time on system architecture, block development or device development. The type of blocks include timing, power management, digital state machines and micro-controllers, imager addressing and readout, interface elements, pixel interfaces, data converters (z-domain understanding), PLLs, DLLs, exposure control, switched capacitor design and related circuits. The successful Design Director is Masters degree or Ph.D. qualified in the area of electrical engineering and has 8+ years experience in the the Semiconductor industry in Analog Mixed Signal IC Design and architecture and has proven technical lead experience and strong interpersonal skills.  The position requires travel to other design centres and fabricators around the world, as well as interfacing with fabs in Asia and elsewhere.
