The team requires a highly motivated and proactive individual to drive and lead analytics and insight within the Motor Finance team, supporting the business to understand our customers, helping to improve our online journeys and the overall customer experience through data informed decisions. You'll support the shaping and ground-breaking new analytics processes, prototype new tools, experiment with data visualisation techniques, and work to enrich web data with business data.

About the role

As Digital Analytics & Insight Manager you'll be adept in analysing customer data and delivering meaningful customer insights that make a real difference, undertaking continual analysis, crafting dashboards, effectively sharing insights, implementing, and testing analytics tools with support from the team.

In this role you'll be proficient at cutting through the volume of data and translating it into insight that can contribute to strategic business decisions and improving the overall customer experience. Working with senior stakeholders in helping them to craft decisions based on analysis and recommendations.

Here's how you'll make a difference:

Conducting analysis and presenting insight using a diverse range of sources to support customer journey optimisation

Collaborating effectively with the team and a wide range of stakeholders and senior leaders across our business to drive the right outcomes for our customers

Building effective networks across communities in the Group and external analytics communities, learning and sharing expertise with others on the latest trends

Lead and minimise operational risks with regards to data including understandings of GDPR and Data Protection Policies

Mentoring other colleagues both formally and informally

What we need from you

Web Analytics experience (WebTrends, Adobe, Google Analytics)

Tag Management experience in Tealium or Google Tag Manager and implementing tracking through tag management principles and the QA process

Strong excel skills with a strong understanding of basic web development principles such as HTML, JavaScript, and CSS

Excellent interpersonal skills (e.g., written and presentation skills) and uses various communication channels

Data Visualisation and storytelling methods to present complex data in a simple, engaging manner

We'd also appreciate someone with a deep understanding of digital marketing and UX concepts and how digital can improve the experience online for customers.

It is desirable to have some Financial Services experience, Session Replay tool experience (HotJar, Tealeaf, Decibel Insight, SessionCam), SEO tools (SEMrush, Google Search Console) and basic SQL is welcome.
