Systems Administrator London to £50k

Systems Administrator (Linux Networking) *Remote / WfH*. Do you have a good knowledge of Linux combined with problem solving skills?

You could be progressing your career working on complex systems whilst continually learning challenging and stimulating projects, collaborating and learning from a busy, motivated team of software professionals.

As a Systems Administrator you will join a small team responsible for managing and supporting the development, test and production Linux servers. You'll manage configuration documentation and operations run-books, collaborate with the wider systems team to resolve technical issues and help ensure that business critical systems remain operational at all times.

There's a remote interview and onboarding process as well as the ability to work from home; in time you'll join colleagues in offices based in Cambridge city centre once or twice a month with the majority of the time working from home with flexible hours (more office time if desired).

Requirements:

You have a good knowledge of Linux OS including experience of administering Linux servers (e.g. Ubuntu, Debian, CentOS / RHEL)

You have technical support experience and good problem solving skills

You're familiar with networking and storage fundamentals

You're keen to develop your skills and learn

Experience with Ansible would be great but not essential

You're likely to be degree educated, Computer Science preferred
