The role We have a fantastic opportunity for someone to join the Impact team at Citizens Advice to oversee the evaluation of the Wales Single Advice Fund (Advicelink) on a fixed term contract (with possible extension) until March 2023. The candidate will also lead the impact evaluation of other welsh government funded projects including the EU Citizens rights service. The role will be funded by the Wales Funded Services Team, but managed by the national Impact Team. The role is broad and varied. There will be an opportunity to lead research and evaluation across a range of projects until final report or presentation or there could be an opportunity to lead or manage commissioned evaluation or research. You will have a degree of professional autonomy when deciding on research methods and approaches. As the role will sit in the national Impact Team, there will also be an opportunity for appropriate professional development and to work on a broad range of activities within national Citizens Advice The successful candidate for this role will be someone who has great mixed methods (qualitative and quantitative) research skills and is ideally confident within the field of service or general impact evaluation, including being able to design and lead their own work (with appropriate support) until completion. In addition, the successful candidate will be confident in communicating with a broad range of stakeholders, including fostering a positive relationship with representatives from Welsh government and colleagues at all levels within Citizens Advice. We welcome candidates with a broad range of research, analyst or evaluation skills. Previous service evaluation experience and/or knowledge of evaluation tools and techniques is desirable but not necessary.
