The IT Support Technician opportunity is based near St. Austell. The role will focus around configuring and troubleshooting 1st line end user queries and escalating to relevant team. You will be expected to travel during working hours to multiple sites across South UK regions. Responsibility for managing all procedures related to the identification, prioritisation, and resolution of end user requests, including the monitoring, tracking, and coordination of Support functions.Planning, configuring, installing, maintaining IT hardware & software.Support Mobile Device Management (Mobile, Tablets)Provide remote IT SupportSupport Phone SystemPerform installations, upgrades & deployment of workstationsProvide IT field support for industrial plant and officesDiagnosis, resolving and documenting hardware and software problems in a timely and accurate wayProviding end users with appropriate assistance through ticketing systemIdentify and prioritise, resolve end user requests, including the monitoring, tracking, and coordination ofSupport functionsPerform regular site visits to remote sites with engagement with local managers for IT SupportSupport users in the use of IT equipment by providing necessary training and adviceProfileThe IT Support Technician will have a 1 year proven track record in a similar environment.Helpdesk ExposureMicrosoft workstations (7/8/10)Microsoft Active DirectoryMicrosoft servers (2012/2016) (Desirable)Network connectivity (Desirable)Microsoft Qualifications (Desirable)Full driving licence (required)Job OfferSalary range between £20,000 - £22,000On call rota is 1 out of 5 / 6 weeks (will commence after 6 months)Hours are - Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week Other benefits include Holiday, pension + more.
