I’m working with a client who is seeking a Principal Electronics Engineer to join a large global company working on instruments equipment used within the food manufacturing industry. Based just outside of Cambridge, (with opportunities of remote working) you have the chance to join an organisation who have had continued success and are now looking to grow the team further. The Role The Principal Electronics Engineer, will be responsible for managing a small team of Electronics Engineer, focusing on design and development of both brand new and existing designs. You will have overall responsibility to ensure all designs are fit for purpose. The Principal Electronics Engineer will work closely with other area of the engineering department to support the test, production, and service teams. What’s Required? For this Principal Electronics Engineer role, we’re interested in people from a variety of backgrounds, but your experience may include some of the following:Solid experience as an Electronics Engineer, preferably from a high-precision environmentExperience with PCB layout and designExperience with circuit design for both analog and digital circuitsFull lifecycle developmentAn understanding of the impact of cost, quality, and reliability.What Next?
