The Software QA Engineer / Graduate Tester Role: In this role, you will need to be a fast learner to understand large and complex systems. You need to have excellent attention to detail, coupled with technical acumen. You will be working closely with developers to ensure requirements are met and issues are resolved. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in an expanding team where you can make a real difference. QA Activities: + Review functional and technical documentation
+ Prepare function test plans in line with requirements
+ Derive and prepare test data
+ Writing and Execution of Manual and Automated test scripts
+ Fault logging, escalation and monitoring
+ Regression testing Required Technical Experience: + Web testing experience
+ SQL (ability to query database / write queries)
+ API testing Desired Technical Experience: + TDD
+ Agile and Scrum
+ Automated testing
+ HTML / CSS / JavaScript About You: + Excellent verbal and written skill
+ Ability to work well in a team comprising varied personal and professional backgrounds
+ Ideally a degree (2:1 or above) in Computer Science or a STEM subject
+ Experience in web testing
+ An understanding of web security risks
+ Ability to write clear defect reports
+ An analytical thinker, able to identify, analyse, and document a problem or process
+ Able to keep the big picture in mind while working on the details
+ Great time management as you will need to prioritise various tasks
+ Keen to learn and able to learn quickly
+ Solid organizational skills including attention to detail
