As a Technical Development Lead for Microsoft Dynamics 365, you will work with stakeholders to translate their business needs into effective, fit for purpose, current workplace solutions. You will play a key part in promoting solution and technology adoption, working alongside the wider team to identify key opportunities and trends.

Day to day, you will manage the development of the DevOps pipeline, environments, and releases. You will work in partnership with third party suppliers to facilitate collaboration whilst assuring quality.

Responsabilities

Consult the business on how to leverage new capabilities across Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform

Design current workplace solutions in-line with best practice

Work closely with Project Managers and broader technical teams (internal and external) to deliver successful projects, taking ownership for technical delivery and hands on implementation as required

Manage the development team comprised of both internal and supplier development resource

Ensure the quality and standards of technical delivery including management of developers/third party suppliers

Plan and document technical specifications, tasks breakdown and estimations

Lead on transitioning technical delivery into operations including managing upgrades and patches

Lead, champion development best practice and coach development source

Provide third line support to the IT operations team

Maintain an advanced knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and its place within the wider RSSB selected technology stacks

Line management responsibilities

Qualifications

Experience in designing, implementing and maintaining workplace / enterprise solutions with Microsoft Dynamics 365

Manage multidisciplinary teams and technical delivery partners

Experience of managing and coaching a team with the ability to motivate and manage performance.

Transitioning technical delivery into live operational service

Have recent in-depth experience and knowledge of:

Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central / NAV

Microsoft Power Platform

Microsoft 365

Azure 

.NET core

MS SQL Server

Visual Studio, VS code

Microsoft Certifications in D365

Ability to adapt to different delivery methods including both Agile and Waterfall

Ability to influence and communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
