DevOps Engineer London to £55k
DevOps Engineer (GitLab K8 Kubernetes) *Hybrid WfH*. Are you a technologist DevOps Engineer seeking an opportunity to take ownership and make an impact whilst working on a modern stack with continual learning and career progression opportunities?
You could be joining a highly successful FinTech whose award winning software enables customers to build high-performance web trading apps that deliver real-time information securely and reliably.
As a DevOps Engineer your initial project will be to migrate from Jenkins to GitLab and Kubernetes - you'll be responsible for the strategy, planning and management around migrating to Kubernetes, Gitlab as well as Linux, Windows, Mac build agents on GitLab. You'll collaborate with the Infrastructure Team to quickly respond to build failures and work to detect, resolve and avoid future issues either utilising 3rd party software or building custom tools.
The company can offer a remote interview and onboarding process as well as the ability to work from home with a gradual return to the office planned for the new year (January 2022); based in central London with continued flexibility to work from home most of the week with only one day in the office.
Requirements:
You have experience in a similar DevOps positon
You have hands on experience con?guring and managing GitLab using tools such as Kubernetes, Containers, Ansible, Packer, Terraform
You have a good knowledge of Linux including the command line
You have strong problem solving skills and meticulous attention to detail
You're collaborative and have great communication skill
