The Senior IT (Infrastructure) Engineer will be responsible for implementing, administering, maintaining and supporting IT systems, networks and services within the Information Technology function. Client DetailsMichael Page are delighted to be partnered with a leading housing association based in Bradford to help support with the recruitment of a Senior IT (Infrastructure) Engineer.DescriptionWhat you'll be doing?The Senior IT (Infrastructure) Engineer will be responsible for implementing, administering, maintaining and supporting IT systems, networks and services within the Information Technology function. Key Responsibilities:Plan, manage and implement infrastructure projects and upgrades to meet company objectivesAdministering and proactive monitoring of Servers, Desktops, Networks, Antivirus, Patching and other applicationsProviding technical expertise and authority for 2nd and 3rd line support, including Problem ManagementLiaise with external suppliers and support providers for the ongoing support and maintenance of relevant hardware, networks and software. Maintain relationships and continual improvementsLine management of the IT Helpdesk AssistantTo monitor the IT budgets and support the Head of IT with maintaining Value for MoneyEnsuring business continuity through Backup and Recovery procedures, including testing and documentationProfileKey Skills & Experience:High level of experience, competency and knowledge on a range of IT systemsBe willing to travel to other sites throughout the country, often at short noticeComfortable to train system users in classroom sessions and one to oneMicrosoft Windows Server 2008-2016 / Azure (Advanced skills/MCSE)Microsoft Office application suite 365 / EMS / Sharepoint / Powershell (Advanced skills)Active Directory, SQL, DNS, file sharing protocols and IIS web server configuration.Citrix XENAPP / VMWare / Veeam / Azure / AWS / SAN - Virtualisation and Cloud (Advanced skills)LAN/WAN/VPN, including managing switches, wireless networks, routing protocols, DHCP, DNS (Advanced skills) Job OfferSalary: £39,000
