Premier Group are currently engaged with a well-established client in the Birmingham area, who require ERP Implementation Project Manager to join their team following an expansion of the IT department.
The successful ERP Implementation Project Manager will Work with senior stakeholders to develop a clear project scope. You will be able to Develop, maintain and manage a detailed ERP implementation project plan including timeline and risk log.
The role of ERP Implementation Project Manager will also include working occasional Saturdays, as well as working out of hours when required.
ERP Implementation Project Manager - Roles and Responsibilities
Vendor management to ensure efficient and effective service delivery, act as the primary point of contact for external vendors and other third partiesMapping of business processes and ensure that these are translated into ERP flows, ensure that UAT is conducted, and all critical business processes are successfully transited to ERPProactively identify and manage project risks and issues, escalating to senior management as appropriateProduce change impact assessments and associated implementation plans to ensure change is embedded to the businessGeneral project management training and support across the business
ERP Implementation Project Manager - Roles and Responsibilities
Qualified project management practitioner or equivalent practical experienceProven ability to deliver projects in an agile and adaptive way, to time, quality, and costAbility to work at pace and deliver several priorities simultaneously to achieve set deadlinesExperience of identifying and managing riskDemonstrable experience of ERP systems ideally in an industrial distribution companyExperience of identifying business benefits and producing benefits realisation plansAbility to rapidly create and sustain effective working relationshipsAbility to work with and through people, either indirectly or as part of a team, to deliver collaborative outcomesExperience of managing system change across multiple business units and being able to contribute to technical and/or business process discussionsHighly effective written and verbal communication skills
