Fabulous opportunity in Bristol for a skilled Embedded Software Engineer to join the worlds leading bluetooth technology team. I am seeking a well educated Embedded Engineer with at least 2yrs + experience programming in C for embedded systems and the following expertise:Proficient in the C programming language using cross compilers for embedded systemsGood understanding of software design techniquesUnderstanding of software architectureUnderstanding and experience in of debug techniques in embedded environmentsUnderstanding of software configuration managementPreferred Experience:
Understanding of processor architectures and peripheralsUnderstanding of Continuous integration, automated unit and soak testingUnderstanding of automation via Python or similar scripting languageUnderstanding of communication protocols, especially wireless ones such as Bluetooth or Wi-FiUse of test equipment for debug and diagnosisSuperb salary and benefits on offer plus opportunity to work from home for some of the time.
