Working closely with the Service Improvement and Operations Manager, the Service Improvement Analyst will play a key role by providing, operational support to the function as well as analysis on system usage, training needs and compliance. Through reporting, meetings and analysis, the Service Improvement Analyst will work to ensure that IT and Facilities systems and services remain aligned to supporting organisational processes as NHSR's certifications.Client DetailsNHS Resolution is an arm's-length body of the Department of Health and Social Care. The Digital, Data and Technology Directorate, (DDaT) is an exciting high performing function with a challenging programme of work and a department structure aimed at progression, development and high operational and strategic outputs. As a result we are looking for talented DDaT professionals to join us on this journey.DescriptionThe post holder must have well developed communication skills and emotional intelligence. The post holder must be able to express and describe complex, multi-stranded, sensitive and contentious information effectively in both written and verbal medium.Post holder will be expected to deal with complex and multi-stranded information, technical in nature and disseminate, distribute and oversee that tasks are completed and carried out in a timely fashion. Monitoring and ensure consistent progress in line with IT Plans and milestone.Coordination and monitoring operational risks and issues, bringing them to the attention of senior staff as appropriate.Prepare reports and assist in their analysis to highlight any trends.Anticipates and highlights issues/risks, where possible, ahead of timeCarrying out audits on process, ISO related tasks, procedures to identify gaps and arears for improvementAnalysis of complex facts or situations to enable service improvementWorks with colleagues to ensure that all departmental internal processes and procedures are kept up to date with changes in Legislation and ensuring a culture of continuous improvement.Successfully support and stretch self and team to deliver agreed goals and objectivesThe post holder will play a key role in the procurement, monitoring and tracking of IT equipment, software and licensingThe post holder will be responsible for the production of performance, service and expenditure analysis reports across internal and supplier servicesProfileEducation & QualificationsDegree or equivalent relevant experience plus specialist knowledge of audit and analytical proceduresService improvement qualification or equivalent experience (e.g. Lean six sigma Yellow Belt or other) Skills & Abilities Excellent organisational skills with the ability to anticipate events, deal with problems, adapt and deal with changing circumstances, and work to very tight deadlinesAbility to deliver objectives with very tight deadlinesAbility to provide and receive complex information effectivelyAbility to persuade and motivate others to deliver objectivesHigh level of communication and interpersonal skills to include persuasive, motivational and negotiation skills, both orally and in writingAbility to liaise with staff and customers (internal and external) at all levels Experience Experience carrying out audits on process, ISO related tasks, procedures to identify gaps and arears for improvementExperience of organising complex activitiesExperience of providing complex diary management to senior managersExperience of developing, maintaining and reviewing systems and processes to ensure they are fit for purpose Knowledge & Understanding Knowledge and understanding of project methodologyJob OfferFlexible working with commitment to travel to London or Leeds a minimum 1 day per week / 4 days per monthSalary of £32306 - £39027 (plus London Weighting of £7097)NHS pensionsFlexible workingHealth and Social Security Recreational Association (HASSRA)Season ticket loan schemeEye care vouchers for SpecSavers24 hours employee assistance programme from Health Assured (EAP)Health service discountsCycle to work scheme Applications:To apply for this position, please submit your CV ensuring details of where you meet the essential criteria required for the role are clearly demonstrated.
