Java Developer

We are looking for a Java Developer to come and join an outstanding 50-year-old British brand, "tech for good" organisation who have a sister company which is a registered charity. Offering a comparison platform with a view to reduce consumer waste and put safety and longevity at the forefront of manufacturers minds. With several squads focused on creating API's which are used internally and externally by customers accessing data which helps drive consumer choices.

With the tech stack being a mix between Kotlin and Java, with all new development in Kotlin - you will be joining a team with experienced Technical Leads who will help define your tasks in Java but also help upskill you for future Kotlin work.

Experience 

3-5 years experience with JVM (Kotlin is used alongside Java - Clojure and/ or Scala would be welcome)

DevOps skillset; Docker, Terraform and microservices would be nice

BDD, TDD, Circle CI, Postgres, RDS, 

Spring boot, REST, GraphQL, 

Experience working within a Squads environment would be a plus 

Interest in creating projects that make impactful positive change 

Experience of working to Agile methodologies
