Senior Java Developer / Consultant London / WfH to £80k

Senior Java Developer / Consultant (Java Python Integration) *Remote Interview WfH*. Are you an experienced technologist seeking a role where you can remain hands-on, take ownership and interact with clients?

You could be joining a technology driven software house that work with some of the world's largest commercial brands and digital agencies with a focus on white labelled solutions that allow broadcasters to enable Video on Demand services and live sports broadcasting.

As a Senior Java Developer / Consultant you will architect and design solutions for customer-specific consulting services agreements, collaborating with Solution Architects, Project Management and globally distributed engineering teams. You'll be mainly using Java (and Python) within an AWS environment, integrating and ingesting large data sets from customers into the core product. You will manage many types of integrations and the bespoke needs of clients to connect, migrate and export data between systems, developing robust ingest scripts to translate and accomplish client requirements.

The company is currently able to offer a fully remote interview and onboarding process as well as the ability to work from home; following social distancing measures you'll be based in new offices in the vibrant West End of London with casual dress code, regular social events and flexible working opportunities (2 days a week at home).

Requirements:

You have a strong software engineering background with a good knowledge of modern web applications

You have strong Java coding skills (and Python or JavaScript ideally)

You have experience of leading small teams / projects

Ideally you will have a good working knowledge of AWS and DevOps tools such as Docker, Kubernetes

You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to form strong client relationships
