Excellent opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to step into a key role within the Maintenance department of a rapidly growing manufacturing business that will offer the chance to build a long-term career and get heavily involved with the development of new processes and process improvement.

Do you have experience of Shift Maintenance work in a Manufacturing environment? Do you have a good understanding or experience of Reliability/Process Improvement work?

This company design and manufacture specialist construction materials, they have seen high demand and are planning to improve their manufacturing processes to keep up with demand and maintain a high quality product. Because of this they have a need for a new Maintenance Engineer to help support and organise their Maintenance procedures.

This role will involve planned shutdowns according to PPM, repairs and servicing of production equipment., diagnosing faults and carrying out root cause analysis. You will also be working closely with management to carry out reliability work and process improvements in order to reduce downtime and improve efficiencies.

This role will be on a rotating Days/Nights shift pattern.

This role would ideally suit a Maintenance Engineer from a Manufacturing background with experience of carrying out Process Improvements work on manufacturing equipment and processes.

The Role

* Maintenance Engineer (Rotating Days/Nights)

* Carrying out Maintenance works on production equipment, including planned shutdowns

* Heavily involved with Process Improvement and Reliability works

* 4-on-4-off (2 Days, 2 Nights, 4 off)

* £43,000-£46,000 + Progression + Overtime + Benefits + Holiday The Person

* Maintenance experience in a Manufacturing environment

* Mechanically & Electrically skilled

* Understanding of Process Improvement

* Ability to carry out Root Cause Analysis

* IOSH qualification desirable but not essential
