Infrastructure Architect - AWS - 12 months - Fully RemoteJefferson Frank are currently recruiting for a Infrastructure Architect to work with one of our clients who are a UK based consultancy working for a large household name for a 12 month contract inside IR35, with the typical experience required e.g. Lambda, ECS, Aurora, sqs, S3 Batch. Authorizer & API Gateway. Various monitoring & managed services apps.For this role we would like to find out about your recent projects, demonstrating your skill and proven application of the below technologies.

Development

Volatile, non-stable development environment

No assumed connectivity to other service spokes

No guarantees of stability to outside teams

Deploy continuously to this environment throughout the sprint

Test

Production-equivalent infrastructure for performance and end-to-end acceptance testing

Integration Tests

Used to validate release candidates - process may vary in complexity depending on application risk factors (required penetration testing, PCI audit, etc)

Network connectivity to other integration spokes to support end-to-end platform testing

Releases deployed this environment are expected to go to production upon validation

Pre-Production

Production-equivalent environment for services that have special pre-production testing requirements or must be validated against production data before moving to production

May be used to test data migrations or serve as part of a blue/green deployment strategy

Production

Tested and stable production code
