Information Technology Support Technician role carrying out BAU work as well as helping with updating software + migrationWorking in London - on site & remote - 6 month contractTackling technology within educationClient DetailsEducation sector - using technology to provide high level learning and achievementWorking within teams + structured activityIn need of IT support technician DescriptionRESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES· Ensure Backup and Disaster Recovery requirements are achieved as described in the Business Continuity Plan· Maintain accurate and detailed systems documentation· Maintain the organisations line of business applications· Management of a multi-site switched and wireless network· Managing faults, including incident ticket management and change control from creation to closure· Manage and ensure effectiveness of our security solutions and threat defence systems· Operate and maintain our proactive monitoring systems· From time to time act as key liaison between the ICT Network Team and the ICT Service DeskAble to carry out IT Support Technician duties and responsibilities ProfileSkills and Competencies· Windows Server System experience· Strong PowerShell skills· Working knowledge of Active Directory· Experience in Microsoft 365 and Azure· Working experience with IaaS/PaaS deployments, right-sizing systems for performance and costAbility to explain technology to non technical individualsLives in or around City of LondonJob Offer6 month IT Support Technician contract in City of London450/per day Inside IR35On-site and remote structure
