You'll understand agile, XP practices and the benefits associated with these. As a developer, you'll be open minded and happy to learn new technologies (with the support, of course).What you'll do within our teamsContribute to both technical and ways of working discussions. This helps to deliver the right solution and promotes a culture of continuous improvement in your team.Use TDD and pair programming with other members of your team to deliver well designed and tested code.Communicate with both technical and non-technical people. You'll adjust your language to suit.Elaborate on and upkeep user stories and technical tasks.Help promote an environment of collaboration, where we treasure values like T-shaping.Review your colleagues' work positively and constructively.Mentor junior team members.You'll lead by example and promote our approach to software development.You'll suit this role if you:have knowledge of and experience working with Scalahave skills in designing and implementing multi-tier applications using web-based technologies like Spring Boot or Play Frameworkhave knowledge of Dependency Injection and configuration with YAML or XMLunderstand Json and RESTful architectureshave experience of handling data connections with relational and NoSQL databasesare experienced in logging frameworks and application monitoringhave a good knowledge of cloud platforms and using continuous integrationare aware of agile principlesenjoy developing software using TDDcan produce simple, clean code.You may work remotely from home or depending on your project you may be required to occasionally work at a client site or your nearest office.
